Day 155: Portland Glass Blowers

While I was away at the coast last weekend I saw numerous signs for glass blowing – something I’ve never done before.  Through careful research I found a place in Portland that is fantastic for learning the art of creating great items out of glass.

Portland Glass Blowers is located on Southeast 83rd Avenue and is the perfect spot to learn everything you need to know to make your own wine glasses, glass jewelry, or anything in between.  The main owner has over 10 years of experience with glass works and spends plenty of time one on one with his students.

Blowing glass is a pretty amazing process and something I can’t wait to do again.
